Site notes: On the most southerly road to cross the Cambrian Mountains. The yew is at the entrance yard to Aberbranddu Farm. The first photograph, supplied by Janet Shelly, was taken about 40 years ago when a large portion of the tree was severely damaged by storms. Janet's grandparents, who lived in a house sheltered by the lost Cilwern Yew, had cousins who lived at Aberbranddu Farm.
