| Notes: |
Much had been done to improve the chances of survival from the time of my first visit in 1998. This is a tree in the process of recovery, with fresh growth on young branches from the remaining fragment. The ground around the tree has been cleared of competing growth. The tree will be allowed to grow unimpeded for 5 years before another decision is made about how best to care for it. |
