| Notes: | From afar the yew appears to be of small size. Closer examination reveals that this has once been a much larger tree. One half of the trunk has disappeared revealing the tree's innards in the form of a large internal stem. The fact that this tree might be older than their original estimate of 700-900 is, for the archaeological team, food for thought. |
