Site notes: This site is close to a housing estate by the river Gryffe in Houston. Charles Henderson visited in 2007 and recorded other yews in the vicinity of the 'Craigends Yew', as well as large quantities of litter, evidence of fire and other damage caused by vandalism to the trees. In 2016 Judy Dowling located 4 yews which are recorded here.
