Notes: August 1999 - All that remains is this fragment of ancient shell which leans across the path. It is supported on a single prop, which holds up branches laden with thick foliage.

Latest information: 25th October 2007 - Ian Brown: Tree leans at 45 degrees. A hollow shell with living sapwood running under the old hollow shell in strips. Good spread of foliage with many young limbs & branches. Tree appears in good health despite initial appearance. A second prop has been introduced since the tree was recorded in 1999.
