Notes: 1999 - Tim Hills: SSE of the church. The filling of hollow spaces is less obvious on this tree. Its large girth is maintained to a greater height than is usual. A girth of 25' 6'' (777cm) at the ground in 1999 was followed by a girth of only 24' 11'' (760cm) at the ground in 2000. It illustrates the difficulty of accurately remeasuring trees of irregular shape, taping over what some Victorians described as 'knobs and excrescenses'.
