Notes: This ancient tree was photographed by Gadeau in 1933. Measured at its most swollen point its girth reached 36'. At a height of about 5' the tree narrows to 22' 2'', and this still considerable girth is retained to a great height, presenting a formidable spectacle. While it appears to be solid, a hole on the east side shows that it is hollow, though the extent of the hollowing could not be established. It carried healthy foliage.
