Notes: Much low growth concealed large parts of this enormous yew. Its massive central branch rises from the bole at a height of about 10', along with numerous radiating branches. The main riser also has many branches developing from it. The yew was taped around its base with considerable difficulty. There were some signs of hollowing, in particular on the side facing the church. It is unusual to find a yew of this girth with so few signs of hollowing.
