Notes: 2001 Tim Hills: No fewer than 10 major branches stretch from the bole. All subdivide, some are supported on props. Five metres from the bole these branches reach the ground. As they continue to grow horizontally they sprout new growth. The fact that 22 new trees rise from these prone branches makes this unique among yew trees.
