Notes: Tree 1 on the plan, south of the church and the first on entering the churchyard. It has almost completely separated into two fragments, clinging to pieces of the original trunk. The larger fragment contains two of the trunks, the smaller divides at about 10ft into two main branches. In 2001 the central space was filled with an old carpet and pieces of concrete. In 2012 at least the rotting carpet had gone, though there was still much rubble and decaying grasses by the tree. A girth of 19' 4'' around the base was recorded in 2001, and 18' 11'' at 1' in 2012.
