Notes:November 1997 – Tim Hills: This fragment is all that remains of the storm damaged yew.
2005 – Tim Hills: Though the tree continues to struggle, it was considered worth while to make a new sign recognising its significance. Foliage on the branches growing from the fragment is still thin and discoloured. Of several stems growing from the root stock one carries thick foliage.
