Notes:In a garden that used to belong to my Great Grandfather in the late 70s there was a yew that I was told was planted in about 1450 when the house was built. When I was a child I can remember a rope swing on a bough. I think it is still there but am not certain. The house was called Laburnum Cottage ,Green Lane ,Boughton Monchelsea, nr Maidstone, Kent.
