Brent Knoll

This is the largest of four yews, growing on sloping ground north of the church. It is a columnar, fluted female, but with the appearance of numerous layers plastered randomly on its trunk. It is also very knobbly around sawn off branches. Measured with a horizontal tape starting at the ground from the highest point above the roots was 11′ 8½” (357cm).
