The tree grows by the drive and close to the house. Is girth was recorded as 13’ 6’’ (411cm) at 3’ and 14’ 0’’ (427cm) at 4’. Although the owners believed the old farmhouse to be between 200 and 300 years, records show that a certificate giving an estimated age of 420 years was sent to the owner.
