Notes:1988: Mrs Verdance sent the following information to the Conservation Foundation: The larger yew 14′ 0” (427cm) at 3′ and 14′ 5” (439cm) at 4′. The smaller was difficult to measure because of lower growth, but was considered to be of a similar size. A certificate giving the yew a likely age of 400 years was sent to the church.
2025 – Matt Hicks: Remeasured at 90cm with a girth of 490cm (16′ 1”). At 5′ girth was 518cm (17′ 0”).
