2012 – Peter Norton: The yew grows alongside a footpath. It has three main leaders, two hollowing, from a 7′ break of crown. The bole has 2 basal cavities separated by a thin section of living wood. To the rear of these is a section of white wood which will eventually lead to another cavity. The tree is hollow with a small internal stem. Girth of 18′ 5” (561cm) was recorded with the tape slightly undulating to record the minimum. Two smaller yews can be seen on the opposite side of path, the larger of these with a girth of 11′ 5” at 2′.
