Notes:February 1999 – Tim Hills: The most significant yew here is a shapely fragmented yew surrounded by younger trees which have layered from it. Girth of 22′ 4” (681cm) at the ground recorded.
2013 – Peter Norton: The fragmented female has branch layered with six successful young trees of which the largest was 6′ 11” in girth. Two of these have layered for a second time, and since nobody has ‘tidied up’, the living link to the parent tree is quite visible. Girth incorporating both ground and root crown was 23′ 1” (704cm).
