Tree ID: 954

Yews recorded: Notable

Tree girth: 430cm

Girth height: at 100cm

Tree sex: unspecified

Date of visit: 9/1/2000

Source of earliest mention: The Churchyard Yews of Gwent

Notes:

5/8/1986 – Revd J.Daryll Evans: 5 yews, the largest east of the church with a circumference of 430cm (14′ 1”) at 100cm.
9/1/2000 – Tim Hills: I only recorded one yew of note, to the north west and on the edge of a steep slope into the valley, making it impossible to measure. It was probably 12’/14′, consisting of a main straight riser with second smaller one rising next to it.
I have learned that the church has been converted to a home, but assume the churchyard and its graves are still accessible.
