Notes:Seven yews were noted at this site in 2000, but no details taken. Cornish (1946) had recorded a “very old yew.” In 1996 the Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust noted 2 mature but not very large on the west side. They also noted a church record stating that one of the yews here was planted in 1736. For now it is not known which of the 7 is that tree.
