Notes:

1984: Reg Wheeler’s 1984 plan shows 12 yews with girths ranging from 139cm to 369cm.
1996: The Clwyd/Powys Archaeological Trust survey noted ‘a number of yews, some quite mature, though none of any great age; these are set to the north and east of the church, apparently quite randomly’.
2009: Llanelidan’s Women’s Institute members carried out a survey of their churchyard yews. They reported on yew as having a girth of about 17′ at the ground. This was around a large root and the tree narrowed to 12′ at a height of 3′.
2013: Paolo Bavaresco’s photo shows the girth of the largest tree, at 12′ 10½” (393cm).
