Notes:

July 2002 – Tim Hills: An excellent example of new growth wrapping around the original bole, of which much is still visible. Girth of 15′ 9” (480cm) at 3′ recorded.
2016 – Paul Wood: White wood is seen inside the hollow along with a number of internal stems of various size. Some Chicken of the Woods fungus was seen on the south side of the yew, which is becoming horseshoe in shape. A grave from the 1700s is embedded in the NW side of the tree. Girth of 16′ 0” (488cm) was recorded at 3′, an increase of 3” in 14 years.
