6/8/1986 J.Daryll Evans: The largest yew is SE, described as ‘compact, not yet hollow, and bears substantial ivy’.
11/9/1988 A letter to the Conservation Foundation described that the largest of 5 yews grew 30m south of the church at its east end. Girth was 10′ 0” (305cm) at 3′. Allen Meredith estimated an age of 250 years and a certificate was sent to the church by the Conservation Foundation.
