Notes:

1999: Ivy covered every tree in the churchyard. The hollow shell of an unhealthy looking yew pushed right up against the wall to the south of the church. In his book Yew Trees of Gwent, Evans recorded a girth of 586cm (19′ 3”) at 1m in 1987. It was not possible to remeasure.
2025: A green and much healthier looking yew, though the dry conditions mean that some of the foliage was yellow. None of the ivy stems were thick.
