Notes:Mee recorded ‘a hollow yew’ in 1938. Its girth has been recorded as up to 30′. In 1999 we found no trace of the tree nor anybody who remembered its presence in the churchyard. The only visual record is this watercolour of Orcop church dated 1820, held by Hereford City Library. It clearly shows the yew west of the tower on the south side. The reason for its loss is not known.
