Notes:

The owner presented two girths: 15′ 8” (478cm) at 20” and 16′ 2” (493cm) at 30”. The yew has the appearance of a garden tree whose branches were trained to stretch away from the tree and create an enclosed space – as seen at Armathwaite Hall, Morden Hall Garden and Herefordshire – Private location 2. Allen Meredith gave the Conservation Foundation an an estimate of 550 years and a certificate stating this age was sent to the owners.
