Riber - Low Leas Farm

A letter was received at the Conservation Foundation from Edward Beaumont, dated 18/10/1998. “I enclose a photo of our yew tree which was taken in April 1998. During this year the tree has produced much new greenery although a few years ago it looked very poorly. The girth when last checked a year or two back was nearly 18′ I think, but in 1995 it was measured as 16′ 6”, which caused John White at Westonbirt to say that it was planted in 1074.
