In 1896 Hutchison recorded a yew that ‘stands by the ruins of church in grounds beside burial place of the Colquhouns’. He noted that in 1861 it was 13′ at 4′, and added his own measurements of 13′ 3” at 2′ and 12′ 8” at 3′. There is no evidence that this yew still exists.
