Notes:

August 1983 – Allen Meredith: Girth of 21′ 4” (650cm) at 4′ from the ground. Hollow, with a central root system inside measuring 34 inches at 3ft from the ground. Appears to be quite a healthy tree, red berries already evident.
1998 – Owen Johnson: Diameter of this yew 179 cm at 0.5m.
July 1999 – Tim Hills: A thickened hollow shell. Inside of this an internal stem of about 3′ in girth becomes part of the most fluted of its three straight and tall branches. An approximate girth of about 19′ 6” (594cm) recorded.
