Sydling St.Nicholas

1988: a letter to David Bellamy ‘s Yew Tree campaign from Kathleen Evans recorded girths of 14′ 0” (427cm) at 3′ and 15′ 2” (462cm) at 4′.
October 1998 – Tim Hills: A tall, single stemmed fluted trunk, bulging at about 4′ . No signs of hollowing. The male tree measured 12′ 6” (381cm) at the ground and 14′ 0” (427cm) at 3′.
2010 – Peter Norton: One large male tree grows opposite to the north porch and girthed 13′ 3″ (404cm) at 1′ and 14′ 6″ (442cm) at 3’.
