Notes: A remote site of archaeological significance. The O/S map of 2002 (50000) marks the 'Old Graveyard' NW of Brithdir, as well as 'house platforms', indicating the site of the village. A concrete pillar marks the spot where the Tegernacus stone once stood on the top of the ridge. It reads 'Tegernacus, son of Martius, lies here' and is thought to be early 7th century or older. It can be seen in the National Museum of Wales.
