Notes: Garden yews in a conservation area. The house is thought to be late 17th century at its oldest. The land belonged to Corpus Christi College in the early 19th century but there is little else recorded. It is possible that the yews were planted in what would once have been grand parkland that swept down to the river, predating both house and the adjoining main road.
