Notes: Forestry Commission land. The yew stands on a hill just above the parish boundary, in Colridge Wood, part of the larger Collingbourne Wood which formed part of the historic Royal hunting forest of Chute. The 1773 Andrews and Durys map of the area shows that the yew once stood close to a Royal hunting lodge of which there is now no trace.
