Notes: The earliest parts of the church are 13th century. Male and female yews grow on opposite sides of the churchyard. It is reported that in 1937 Mee's The King's England contained this description: 'In the churchyard is a yew with a hollow trunk 18 feet round'. This has not been verified and presumably describes the fragmented female yew on the south side.
