Notes: A small area of woodland within Dumfries Estate in Cumnock. In 2007 the estate and its entire contents was purchased for the country by a consortium headed by Charles, Prince of Wales. The intention was to renovate the estate to become self-sufficient, both to preserve it and regenerate the local economy. Since then a lot has been happening within the estate including a lot of the ancient and veteran trees being recorded by East Ayrshire Woodlands and Woodland Trust.
