Notes: The Victorian church is in the grounds of Elvetham Hall, now run as a hotel. There has been a church on the site at least since the middle ages. At the moment the hotel has electric gates through which one needs to pass to visit the tree by car; another approach is a footpath that runs close to the churchyard, which is well maintained.
