Notes: There was a medieval chapel at Farley some 300 yds to the west of the present church. By 1680 the old chapel had fallen into disrepair and by 1690 the new church had been designed and built. In Brayley's Topographical History of Surrey 1850 we are told that 'in the churchyard are 2 yew trees, one of which is very large.
