Notes: This site is a grade II listed building known as Chipps House, dating from the 16th century. The yew grows at the building's northwest corner at the roadside. On the opposite side of the road, buried in a hedge is a yew of almost 12' in girth. A row of younger yews, with girths of 7'/9', lead north from the Chipps House yew to the churchyard about 70m to the north. Similar sized yews are also found in the churchyard.
