Notes: In 'The course of the Hamworthy-Badbury Roman Road' by H.P.Smith (1943) we are told on p55 that 'Two ancient yews mark its course just north and south of the railway line.' These are clearly marked on the map and thanks to Google Earth both trees appear to have been located.
