Notes: The yews are situated adjacent to a local public right of way on a limestone terrace. It is reached by this footpath, known as 'The Shawl' in a westerly direction out of Leyburn. After crossing three fields the path meanders along a cliff edge. Some yews are on the cliff top itself but most have been planted alongside a drystone wall.
