Notes: The yew grows on a bank of a lane about 30 metres from the junction of the road that leads to the church. The first edition OS map shows a number of evergreens lining the lane. This would seem to be another of those yews found on a route between two churches - in this case those of Llangasty Tal-y-llyn and Llanhamlach. I have highlighted the yew, showing its position in relation to the field boundary, but note that a large number of evergreens drawn on the map on both sides of the lane have gone, leaving only this yew. We can only wonder how many of these lost evergreens were yews.
