Notes: An early medieval foundation is suggested for this site (CPAT). A yew with a diameter of 270 cm (approx 27' girth) was recorded by Alan Mitchell in 1984 and features on the Tree Register's data base. It was 'cut down in 1984' (A. Meredith). CPAT's record that the old stump had come to life with off shoots proved to be accurate.
