Notes: Site can be reached from parking in the Forestry Commission car park at Fritham, Grid ref SU230140 (Adjacent to the Royal Oak PH) and then walking approx in a SW direction following a wide gravel path along Fritham Plain into Sloden Inclosure 1 mile. Observe the numerous yews growing here, then follow this path on down to Holly Hatch cottage which you pass on your left and a few yards on turn left and into Holly Hatch Inclosure. Still following the gravel track keep straight on up heading towards Broomy Lodge. As you emerge from this inclosure turn left onto a green path and head downwards towards a gate. Go through and start a gentle climb where you will observe this yew situated within an old Holly stand (1+miles), just outside of Holly Hatch inclosure.
