Notes: There is a record (origin not known) of two yews planted at Osmaston in 1650. In The Sacred Yew it is also noted that these yews were measured in 1879, when each had a girth of about 8'. I am unable to establish whether these were churchyard yews, or trees planted in nearby Osmaston Park.
