Notes: A History of the County of Berkshire: Volume 3 originally published by Victoria County History, London, 1923 has the following: The church lies in a churchyard bounded by a laurel hedge, with a modern lych-gate to the south. A fine yew stands on the south side, and there are many large trees close by.
