Notes: This yew grows in a garden at a junction where Peckforton Lane becomes Stonehouse Road. Another old trimmed yew once existed in the village of Peckforton. It is seen in an old photo which can be purchased from the National Trust. Its location was described as 'next to a half-timbered, thatch roofed, building. The tree towers over the building and is so wide that it is almost half the width of the building'. I was informed that this tree burnt down some time in the past.
