Notes: Heading to Dolgarrog, cross the river bridge near Bryn Cowlyd and park immediately on the right. Directly opposite is the very steep track to the old water treatment works above, and the old right of way to the medieval township. The tree is on the left, in the grounds of the old mill, which is now a residence.
