Notes: Ross Priory now belongs to the University of Strathclyde and there is no public access. An area behind and west of the house by Loch Lomond is laid out to gardens with yew trees. An article about Ross Priory appeared in Scottish Field in August 1906 and referred to a 'dim yew walk'. A collection of up to nineteen yews once grew in the grounds.
