Notes: In 2018 the yew is probably under threat because of redevlopment plans. It is found between houses 11 and 15 Shearing Hill, Gedling, at the site of the now disused Gedling and Carlton Railway Station, and is clearly seen on these Google Street View images. The yew appears to be on an ancient trackway, an unerringly straight line that can be traced from the yew at All Hallows church, through to Stoke Bardolph and on to Gibbet Hill.
