Notes: The original church of St Leonard was built in the 13th century and was situated about a quarter of a mile north from the present church along Church Lane opposite Manor Farm. Some gravestones are still visible. The building became unfit for use in the mid 19th Century, and the Nave was pulled down in 1859 and the Chancel in 1907.
