Notes: Snodhill is considered to be the site of one of the largest and oldest Norman Castles in Britain. It has been called the great lost Castle of the Marches. The site, which has been neglected for more than 350 years, is now managed by the Snodhill Castle Preservation Trust. Several old yews are recorded at this site.
